MCU Development Kit

The MMS Development Kit designed by D & P using NXP MCU P89V664, its objective is to meet 2 criteria set for the team:

  1. To create a demonstration kit for the field team in more effective promotion of NXP focus product


  2. To provide an easy to use, cost effective development kit to assist customers in design using MCU and interface products
The development kit can operate as a standalone or interface with a PC via program developed using NI Labview. It also provides facilities for users to explore different interface functions for best design selection. These includes SPI, I2C, UART and USB.

Weighing Machine kit

The weighing scale solution is developed using ADI ADuC847. The result is a off the shelf solution that is production ready. Its performance matches the industrial standard and includes features available in most electronic scales, such as:

  • Software Calibration (with linearity correction)
  • Front Panel zero, Tare functions
  • Software Programmable Digital Filter
  • Motion Detection (with indicator)
  • RS232 data output
The solution can alter its weight size through adopting load cell of different ranges (NB. Alteration of software needed for change of weighing range).

Additionally WPG also provides services to customers who wishes for customization of the product. Modification is possible for weighing scales of different applications.
